The kittens are enjoying life immensly these days. They play like they get paid for it and when we go to sleep we close the bedroom doors not knowing what will greet us when we wake up in the morning! They are also extremely cuddly and sweet cats that purr loudly when petted and they love to lay with us on the bed or in the sofa. They also love food, some of them more than others…. and have learned that it pays of to sit by Noelias chair when she eats . I took some pictures of all except Innogen (she was to busy playing) today and they were not the most cooperative kittens in town….
Yesterday we spent a very nice afternoon with Lilo and Tolle who were here to take a look at Iain and determine if he could become a friend of their current Cornish Igor. It was amazing to see how the kittens connected with Lilo and all cats connected with both Lilo and Tolle. At the end of the visit Lilo and Tolle decided to book Iain which we are very happy for as we know he will move to the best of homes!
As I said yesterday it’s not easy for me to photo the crazies , they are so busy playing these days they don’t have time for anything else. I cought them half asleep and managed ok pictures of all except Innogen, she was getting into playmode when it was her turn and kept moving her head or trying to bite her siblings . The visit to the veterinarian yesterday went really well and the vaccinations don’t seem to affect them at all.
The kittens are growing really fast, I can’t believe how time flies. Tomorrow they will get their first vaccination and before we kow it they will have moved. We are taking care of a 4 month old Abyssinian for friends in Iceland, he will move at the end of the month. He has made friends with the kittens especially Iain and Irial, they play like crazy. Innogen and Iorwen play with him too but are a bit more careful. Here are some pictures of the kittens sleeping, I’m not very good at taking pictures when they are awake. There is also a picture of the whole Cornish family.

We were going to take pictures of the kittens today but things don’t always go according to plan. One of Aliosha’s sisters and her family are coming for a visit and time flew. I tried to take some pictures of “the crazies” as I call the kittens but only managed legs and tails and occasional ears! They finally calmed down and laid down in a dark place and closed their eyes every time the flash went off so I took one picture of Iorwen and Irial with the help of a flash light. Hopefully we manage better pictures tomorrow!
Heddwyn has been sold to a wonderful home and since he and Chocko are such good friends it was decided that he would go along. It was very difficult to let Chocko go, although he was never supposed to live with us we took him back when his previous owners had to move out of the country. Chocko’s mother never forgave him for coming back and he was never really accepted again. He is a very loving cat and adored our little baby daughter from the start, the only cat that ever paid her any attention. But we thought that since he and Heddwyn were such good friends it was best to let him go. Their new family came to fetch them and three days later we went to visit them and we certainly got a sign from Chocko that he did not want to go back with us. He ignored us completely and if we picked him up he growled. The cats have made good friends with the two lovely girls they live with and their mother. Here below is a picture of them sleeping with one of their new friends. They are very lucky cats .
Last Friday we had a visit from a lovely young woman who has now booked Irial! We know that he will live a great life in the best of homes! Irial will move in the beginning of December.
