Due to an uterus infection Gullbrá lost all her three kittens from this mating at birth. We have for this reason decided not to name any future kittens with C-names. At the same time as Gullbrá lost her litter our friend Margrét Garðarsdóttir who has the Norwegian Forest Cat cattery IS*Eldibrand´s got a litter with a c-section from her female Birna. Birna got a post delivery physcosis and did not want to take care of her kittens. We decided to try to give the kittens to Gullbrá who was extremly depressed...Everything turned in a fraction of a second when she heard a baby cry. We surely now know how a cat looks like when it smiles from ear to ear!! Gullbrá is a devoted mother who has brought up her foster babies in the best way possible.
